*I have CRPS and Dystonia. *My favorite motivational song is For The Moments I Feel Faint by Relient K. *My favorite movies are The Lord Of The Rings. *My favorite book is A Place Of Healing by Joni Erickson Tada. *My favorite inspiring quote: "Kites rise highest against the wind—not with it.”-Winston Churchill *For fun I paint, play guitar a little, read (adventure and mystery), cook, swim, and kayak. *Three interesting facts about me: I am a Western Michigan University student majoring in Elementary Education (originally Chemical Engineering), I went hiking in Shenandoah National Park this past summer with a lot of help from my mom (big accomplishment), and I have learned how to make just about any dish gluten free, and as good as the original, because I have celiac disease (another autoimmune). *I had a rollerblading accident at age 13 where I sprained my ankle. I was diagnosed with CRPS at age 15. My CRPS is in my right leg/foot. About a year ago I was diagnosed with dystonia, and I now wear braces on both feet for that. *The toughest part about having chronic illnesses is having to cancel on my friends so much. *My biggest supporters on bad days are my mom and my grandma *My biggest accomplishment right now is getting my associates degree, but hopefully soon (two more years if all goes well) I'll have my bachelors degree. *The most positive part of having a chronic condition is meeting other warriors and knowing I'm not alone. *I am not a China doll. I can still do things, there's just a recovery period afterward.
