I am an active teenager who loves to laugh, hang out with friends, ski race, volunteer on the ski patrol, and fish. I am also a certified EMT and Outdoor Emergency Care Technician (OECT). In my free time, I like to read, draw, write, do taekwondo, hunt, kayak, hike, and bike. If it involves the outdoors, sign me up! I am learning American Sign Language and I am a member of the Student EMS, American Chemistry Society, and the American Sign Language club. All in all, you could say I'm pretty active in the community and community service is a passion of mine.
Currently In My Life
I am super busy right now trying to wrap things up before Spring Break starts on Wednesday. I have a few doctor's appointment's tomorrow, so I'll touch base with a medical update then!
I am a 20 year old junior at the college of my dreams. I am studying Emergency Medicine and Communication Rhetoric and minoring in the Administration of Justice and National Preparedness and Emergency Management certificate. At some point, I want to go and get my paramedic certification when my health allows. I have several chronic illnesses and this blog and website serves as a place for me to share my journey fighting CRPS and my other conditions. I hope that this blog can also serve as an outlet for raising awareness for rare diseases. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy! Feel free to comment; I'd love to know what you think!
